Daniël Bakker (Nijmegen, 1995) graduated from the Netherlands Film Academy in 2023 with KLEINGELD (POCKET CHANGE). The film was nominated for Best Short Film at Cinekid and won Best European Short Film Award for Children at the Olympia International Film Festival. In 2024 Daniël directed the 3LAB series' pilot E-MOTIONS. He has also directed several short films and commercials, including TOUCH THE LEATHER which premiered on NOWNESS and at the Netherlands Film Festival, as well as the SIRE commercial VAKMENS, which won the CAMALOT Commercial Award.
